1. Standard Returns Policy
    1. If you are not completely satisfied with a product, you can return the product to HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON and HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON reserves the right to either repair/replace it, or credit your account, subject to the terms below. This Policy applies to products bought from HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON itself and from Third Party Sellers.
  1. This Policy forms part of the HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
  1. HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason. You will be notified of this and we will refund you with the purchase price of the product within 3 – 5 days of the return.
  • Six Months return policy for defective goods (CPA_:
    • We may repair or exchange defective merchandise provided proof of purchase is produced.
    • If upon inspection it is found that the items are not defective you will not be entitled to a refund, repair or an exchange. You may be liable for the direct costs incurred.
  • Electrical products will be repaired, replaced or refunded subject to supplier warranties if faulty, provided that:
    • the product was used in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms of use and there is no evidence of structural damage or abuse;
    • the original components and accessories are also returned; and
    • the original plug has not been tampered with.
  • Order cancellations for Online Purchases:
    • If you would like to cancel your order before delivery please call us as soon as possible;
    • Once your order has been dispatched and it has been handed over to our courier partner we will only be able to initiate a cancellation and a refund when the Items are back at our Fulfilment warehouse;
    • In the event that we are unable to stop the delivery do not accept the delivery, reject it and inform the driver that you had asked for a cancellation;
    • If the delivery was accepted you have the right to return it. Please read on for more information on returns.
  • Exchange Policy
    • Return of a product is subject to validation by HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON.
    • Product will be exchanged if you notify HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON  within 7 days of delivery, at no extra cost to you provided:
      • The product is not damaged and unused, with all the original labels and stickers still attached, as the product was received;
      • The product contains all any accessories or parts that originally belonged to the product;
      • Products that cannot be returned as listed as follows:
  • a product intended for everyday consumption such as food/ beverage;
  • an audio or video recording or computer software or game that has been unsealed/ unpackaged;
  • Damage on delivery

Please notify us within 7 days if a delivery / collection is damaged and HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON will collect the product from you at no charge. HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON will replace the product at your election or provide you with a full refund with the purchase price of the product.

  • Defective products
    • If any product has a material defect HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON will return please notify us within 7 days if a delivery / collection is damaged and HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON will collect the product from you at no charge. HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON will replace the product at your election or provide you with a full refund with the purchase price of the product.
  • Refunds
    • You must return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product to HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON, and if you do not do so to HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON is entitled to (subject to applicable and relevant law) refuse the return, or only to replace the item that you returned; or to calculate/ estimate the value of any missing parts and accessories and to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only. Failure to act in accordance with this policy will result in you reimbursing HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON for any costs incurred from collecting the product from your premises and the cost resulting from the product being returned to the initially elected address.
  • Refunds will only be made by HAIR AT MELS TRADING AS MELS SALON  to the payment method that you originally used:
  •  payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card;
    • payment by Instant EFT will be refunded to your nominated bank account;
    • payment by cash on delivery will be refunded to your nominated bank account;
